Ixtapa Adventure Park
Adventure, the idea for the creation of this park originates from a French mystic with a desire to preserve nature and to take care of the environment.
Situated just off the Guerrero coast with an incredible view of Palmar Bay near Ixtapa, and just 5 minutes from it, you have the perfect tropical environment teeming with numerous iguanas, badgers, wild rabbits, and some wandering deer under a sky lined with parakeets in their natural habitat.
This is how the park gains notoriety as a new attraction for foreign and nacional tourists that enjoy taking park in activities in direct contact with nature.
The attraction consists of a ride 10 to 50 feet over the trees previewing hanging bridges, Tarzan vines, rope ladders, and ends with the main dish, a 100 foot zipline for the beginners and a second of over 300 feet for the more adventurous. Come and experience the Adventure Park at kilometer marker 4.8 on the Zihuatanejo-Playa Azul highway just 2500 ft from the Ixtapa Scenic Viewpoint.
The provided equipment (harness, ropes, pullies, and snap arneses) is checked by staff. Only equipment provided by the park is authorized for use. Progress markers have been strategically placed along the path. Qualified personnel have designed poster-type signs explaining what is to be done in each phase, and what is instructed should be closely followed. Adventure seekers should always be tied to the cable during the entirety of the tour, making sure of his/her own security. Minimum height is 4ft 6in for all participants, and those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Park is not responsable for individual security during the trip through the park
